Great food and friendly service

Food was really good and we were served very friendly. The portions are quite big, so you wont get home hungry. A big parking is next to the restaurant.

This place was amazing, the whole family went here for a family gathering, the food was spot on, everyone had great complements of their meal, and the view nothing less the spectacular 💕💕

We ate here one day with the idea that we would just get appetizers because we had been eating sooooooo much. It was a good choice. The food was top notch. I wish we had eaten a whole meal there! If you buy something at the gift shop, you get a discount in restaurant.

Found a great table for 4 on the outside deck - great fish and chips, scallops and fried clams! Service very good even though they were extremely busy. Enjoyed the concert for the final day of Lobster Bash 2019! Excellent music and fantastic fireworks! Great job by all. Thank you Digby for making our first night here terrific.

We ate two dinners and lunch at this restaurant and LOVED the scallops. Best we ever had! The location and atmosphere were great and the prices were less than other restaurants. We shared the $29.99 dinner special, which was a bout 14 or 15 scallops, a large salad and a glass of wine.

Everything was incredible! Whiskey maple bacon wrapped scallops are to die for! My husband loved his fish & chips!

The seafood platter was cooked to perfection. And copious amounts. Price was high but I suppose you get what you pay for. The beer was number 1.

Enjoyed a scallop burger (what else would you eat in Digby?) along with a Lazy Bear Honey Brown. Service was really fast and food was good. Parking in Digby is tight so you might have to walk for a couple blocks.

Amazing view from the patio, as fresh as you can get seafood. Friendly and fast service. Reasonable prices. If you don’t want to do fine dining, this is the way to go for the whole Digby food experience.

Decent food and prices. We didn't try enough to really say one way or another but the bacon-wrapped scallops in maple were a disappointment - lots of thick syrup covering the dish, overpowering and making it taste like a candy.

Excellent courteous service and great food. There are a lot of menu options and of course Digby scallops are a strong recommendation. It always makes me laugh when I am intentionally routed through a gift shop to go anywhere including this restaurant. We bought a few gifts at this quality gift shop. If you are done with gift shops then this restaurant has this one negative feature that you need to consider.

The service was excellent and the food came super fast. The fish and scallops are super fresh. You have the option of getting home made chips instead of fries. I highly recommend that. And you can sit out on a balcony and watch the harbour. Craft beer is available and the prices are very reasonable. I would easily go back.

Although this place was extremely busy the day we were there, the service was excellent and timely.I found the food to be very good and the servings large. Be sure to ask about their daily specials.

The seafood chowder is absolutely the best I've ever had! Totally worth the 2 hour drive here to give the town's famous scallops a try.

The food was absolutely delicious ,the portion was generous and its not overpriced ! The server were nice and very kind .Its really not wath it seem from the outside , not disapointed, i suggest it to everyone who love sea food 😁p.s i ate the vegetables before taking the picture hahaha ..

Very quick preparation times, excellent cooking, great friendly service. Had the fisherman's platter pan fried. Scallops and haddock were cooked perfectly. Escargot was very well done with plenty on snals and lots of butter and mozzarella. Good pricing and big portions.

Had the most amazing meal here on our road trip to Nova Scotia. The poutine is out of this world! Super huge portions and everything on the menu was delicious. If I ever go back to Digby, will definitely be going to back to this place for another great meal!

Excellent experience at the Shoreline! Food was amazing and staff were super friendly. We had scallops and fish and chips and was very good. Had a great kids menu and a great view of harbour. A really nice place and would highly recommend!

This was such a good meal ! Well worth 5 stars ...the service was awesome ,the view just what a person wants when they come to a seashore restaurant and the food...the batter was light and crispy and so much of it ...tip...dont order an appetizer before ordering the fisherman's platter lol.We ordered the maple whiskey bacon wrapped scallops and they were delicious.service was so quick too with a very pleasant young lady .

Great place - excellent atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. They have some nice regional brews on tap and an extensive menu. Portions are generous. Live lobsters on site. Nice patio overlooking the wharf. And the scallops... ah the scallops - biggest and tastiest I've had anywhere.

Obviously a popular spot as it was very busy. But the staff moved very quickly and the food was delicious. There is also a gift shop attached to the restaurant in case you'd like to shop for some souvenirs while you wait.

Bourbon maple bacon wrapped scallop appetizer was scrumptious, and the fish-cake dinner was delicious; the sweet relish complimented much better than tarter sauce, and opted for steamed vegetables instead of french fries.

Great food! Haddock fish cakes was amazing and a large meal! Sitting the deck with the view of the dock and fishing boats was beautiful! Awesome customer service as well!

Scallop and haddock menu are just moderate.. But service level of staffs are very poor. They are neither kind nor sincere They should be trained and educated properly. They don"t deserve to take tip.

We decided to try both of the top rated restaurants in Digby, of which Shoreline is one.We had no reservation, so when we asked for, and received, a table on the patio we were very pleased. Our server was a bundle of energy (despite what a hard job she has).Many of the dishes that both restaurants serve are deep-fried or combinations like mac and lobster. We prefer simple preparations: just sautéed with a squeeze of lemon. And since this part of the world is famous for scallops, we requested them done that way. We didn’t order any appetizers because we know how much food they serve.The quality was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner: 2 orders of scallops (14 pieces) + baked potato + (amazing) zucchini + a beer + a glass of wine: CAD $88.

Exceptional stay in every way. Our small room was comfortable and clean and the barfridge was stocked with a wide thoughtful variety. The breakfast salmon and scone's we're a delight.

Great spot for local Digby scallops and other seafood. Patio overlooks the colorful harbour. We shared quahog clams appetizer and had the grilled scallops with rice and veggies (carrot and asparagus) and the scallop kabob with rice.

As Digby is the 'Scallop Capitol of the World', we had to plan a visit during our stay in Nova Scotia. There are several highly rated restaurants in Digby and as we only had an afternoon in Digby, we gambled on the Shoreline Restaurant and we were not disappointed! We lucked up and with no wait got a table on the deck overlooking the marina. Our waitress was fantastic and made several helpful suggestions on our food choices. We started with the Quohog Bites (lightly battered fried clams), I've never cared for clams but these were amazing, not greasy or over-battered. My husband had the highly recommended Pan Fried Scallops and loved them. On the advise of our waitress I opted for the Pan Fried Haddock, fantastic! The portions were all very generous and the prices very reasonable.

The food was plentiful and good. Staff acted as if I was not important. Two people and we spent almost $100. Won’t go back.

The Whiskey Maple Bacon Wrapped Scallops were out of this world! Served with some homemade chips, they were covered in a thick, sticky, sweet glaze that had just a bit of heat and the smokeynesss of the bacon just sent it over the top. The Creamery Garlic Shrimp on Cristiano were perfectly cooked.

Good location, nice staff, food typical of tje eastern provinces with prices a bit too high. Nothing wrong, but there are better choices in town.
